Models go into the product's own media, like a photo. Shopify hosts them, so there are no view limits, and they stay if you remove Plinth.
True to size in AR
Enter one measurement and the model is scaled to match, standing on the floor. A 45 cm lamp looks 45 cm tall in the shopper's room.
No theme code
Online Store 2.0 themes such as Dawn already show 3D models in the product gallery, with View in your space on iPhone and Android.
Multi-view for accuracy
Add back and side photos and the AI sees the whole product, for a sharper shape and true color on every side (Pro).

Which products work best?
Solid objects with a clear photo: furniture, lamps, vases, ceramics, shoes, bags, toys, bottles and decor. Glass, mirrors and chrome, very thin parts (like wire or chair legs under 5 mm), and clothing shown on a person are harder for any AI and may need a second try with a different photo.
What is a credit?
One Standard generation uses 1 credit; Multi-view, which reads up to four photos, uses 2. Free includes 3 credits to try it; Pro and Plus credits reset on the 1st of each month, and a paid plan's free trial includes 5. Turning, resizing and publishing are free, and failed generations give their credits back.
Does it work with my theme?
Yes, if your theme shows 3D models in the product gallery, which Dawn and the other Online Store 2.0 themes do. There's nothing to install in your theme: the model is part of the product's media.
How does AR work for shoppers?
On iPhone and Android, the product gallery shows a View in your space button. It opens the phone's own AR viewer and places the model in the room at the size you set. Shopify converts the model for iPhone automatically.
Can I fix a model that isn't right?
Turn it to face forward and change its size any time, free. If the shape is off, generate again with a cleaner photo or with Multi-view. You publish only when you're happy with it.
What happens if I uninstall?
Published models stay on your products, because they're saved in your Shopify product media. Plinth deletes its drafts and records 48 hours after you uninstall.
